Syllabus:

Students undertake a significant project that either develops new knowledge or addresses an engineering problem of interest. Students are free to choose from a range of projects offered by the faculty members as well as by external clients. The theory units that they learn in the classroom provide them with existing knowledge in the field whereas the undergraduate project provides them with an opportunity to demonstrate their inventiveness, degree of effort and self-management skills. The project involves analytical, numerical or experimental investigation or design, which is carried out over a period of one year. The students submit their project work in the form of an undergraduate thesis at the end of the year.

** To ensure that the most up-to-date information about unit references, texts and outcomes appears, they will be provided in your unit outline prior to commencement. **
