Introduction

Completion of this major will provide students with the ability to communicate in Korean culture. The focus of the major is the Korean language. The major also provides an insight into the social frameworks, political structures and religions of Korean culture. To successfully complete this major students are required to complete two core units, eight Korean language units and two elective units. Students commence with Korean 111, or a more advanced unit depending on the student's communicative ability,and after consultation with the Korean teaching staff.
