Introduction

This course is designed for those with a professional qualification in librarianship, working in an environment where management of an organisations records, as well as the management of a library, is involved. It offers an overview of records keeping and management practices and theory, the technology involved in the records management area and information retrieval theory.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

An undergraduate degree or graduate diploma qualification in librarianship.

Specific Requirements

Applicants with minimal or no computing skills are expected to undertake a short course in computing. Regular and reliable Internet access is required.
