Syllabus:

Material and inventory management as part of the logistics process. Planning and control of inventory, purchasing, procurement and production. Warehousing and storage. Just in time (JIT), materials requirement planning (MRP), distribution requirements planning. Supplier selection, evaluation and outsourcing. Measurement and evaluation of material management activities. Integrating material management, transportation and order processing logistics functions.
