Introduction

This double degree major facilitates the development of sophisticated, critical and conceptual skills in understanding and evaluating the media and information institutions of our world - analysing film, radio, television, print, the Internet and the convergence of all these media forms. It answers key questions that confront media-saturated societies, understanding globalisation, media corporations and the impact of information and communication technologies in the digital world. The program incorporates critical analysis and the application of ideas to real opportunities.
