BSc(Curtin), BCom(Curtin)

Course CRICOS Code: 043263K
Registered full-time Duration for International Onshore Students on student visas: 4 Years

Introduction

This double degree provides students with an integrated education program in both exploration/applied geology and commerce. It provides dual qualifications in these areas and provides graduates with unique opportunities to obtain employment in resource development and related fields involving natural resource management. The Bachelor of Commerce places an emphasis on decision-making, trends in technology and associated work patterns and other aspects of management in a highly competitive business arena. The programs emphasise both theoretical concepts and the application of knowledge to commerce and industry. The legal studies major provides students with knowledge and skills relevant to working in business or government in a para-legal capacity. These skills are closely linked to issues relating to legislation dealing with mining and petroleum tenements and are therefore a vital part of resource exploration and development.
