Syllabus: Transport phenomena and ionic electrochemistry. Conductivity, mobility, transport numbers. Potentiometry. Electrochemical cells. Surface chemistry - general principles relating to surfaces. The liquid state. Solid gas interface. Liquid-vapour and liquid-liquid interfaces. Solid liquid interface. Applications of surface chemistry.
