Syllabus: Exploration of the changing face and challenge of professional practice in the new economy. Use of personal experience and related case studies in the literature, to explore how the rapid economic, technological, social and political changes now underwayare producing new professional demands and opportunities, requiring new professional mindsets and skills. Reflection on the major substantive trends discussed in other units - analysing meaning, preparation and response to professional challenges ahead.
