Syllabus: This unit introduces students to the Protecting Heritage Places kit of the Australian Heritage Commission, and equips them to use it to develop understanding and protective strategies for places of national environmental significance, including places which also have cultural (including indigenous) significance. Students will understand social and other values of natural environment heritage places. This unit is taught using both printed and online study materials.
