Introduction

Tourism is one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy and the workplace in Australia and its region. This major provides a thematic and interdisciplinary perspective on the factors underlying the development of industry and impact upon host communities and the environment, with particular reference to Cultural Tourism and Ecotourism.
