Syllabus:	This unit concerns the consideration of cultural aspects of sport such as sport and gender, sport and commodification, sport and national identity, sport and its representation on television and film. It develops an understanding of what constitutes discipline knowledge and how it can be applied as well as the ability to think critically, creatively and reflectively.
