Syllabus: An introduction to the frameworks of workplace safety, physical hazards, preferred order (hierarchy) of control, machinery guarding, fire and explosion prevention and protection, storage and handling of hazardous materials, construction safety, electrical safety, safe systems, transport safety, radiation safety, lockout and tagging, accident causation, incident investigation and reports, and confined spaces.
