Syllabus: Drug stability. Chemical decomposition including hydrolysis, oxidation and photolysis. Effects of temperature, pH and other factors on drug stability. Formulation of polypeptides. Aseptic transfer and sterilisation testing. Delivery of drugs to disease state sites by various mechanisms including drug targeting.
