Syllabus: Practice of development in the 'developing world'. Critical analysis of the range of approaches to designing, implementing and evaluating development projects. Topics include: project cycle in planning, understanding the project environment, logical framework analysis, participatory and control-oriented management techniques. This unit can taken in both the Anthropology and Geography discipline majors.
