Syllabus: Strategic Procurement is designed to enable participants to develop a general appreciation of the supply chain as a strategic influence upon the management of a public or private sector organisation. The content of the unit introduces the processes of procurement and their relationship to supply chain management and aims to develop strategic management skills relevant to the implementation of supply chain and procurement concepts.
