Syllabus:	Physics Component -the physics of magnetic resonance; motion within atoms, hydrogen nucleus, alignment, precession, Larmour equation, resonance, MR signal, FID, relaxation, T1 recovery, T2 decay, T2*, pulse timing parameters K space. Non-ionising radiation safety. Instrumentation Component - magnets, gradient magnets, radio frequency systems, encoding, data collection and image formation, parameters and trade-offs. Image artefacts. Quality assurance. Imaging Component MR scanning.
