Syllabus: Introductory pathology - disease processes and body defence mechanisms, infection and inflammation, cell necrosis, intravascular and vascular disturbances, hypertrophy, hyperplasia, atrophy, hypertrophy, hyperplasia, atrophy, hypoplasis, trauma, neoplasia, pathological effects of ionizing radiation. Pathology and trauma of systems, musculoskeletal, respiratory, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and neurological diseases which are commonly displayed on medical images.
