Syllabus: The reflective practice cycle. Measurement errors and variability in process data and probability distributions. Data sampling and parameter estimation. Hypothesis testing of measured parameters. Use of simple and multiple linear regression. Analysis of variance of single and multiple factors. Design of factorial and partial factorial experiments. Application of statistical process (quality) control.
