| Syllabus: | Introduction to industry level requirement of skills and knowledge aspects as they relate to the practice of electrical product design. Tuition is studio orientated using project-based design problems. Emphasis is placed on technical skill and use of technology. Provide an awareness of the following skills: an understanding of how people behave, interact or respond to various products; an understanding of materials available to design electronic and electrical products; an understanding of internal componentry and an understanding of electromagnetic shielding and other manufacturing issues. |
