Syllabus:	Develops and extends the research and cross-cultural communication skills studied in Cultural Literacy 500 and includes: research skills, critical thinking, writing and editing, study of academic journal writing, analysis of various disciplines' texts and social discourse - particularly oral discourse in Australia and cross-cultural studies. Complements and integrates study undertaken in other disciplines. Preparation of a research proposal, development of a literature review, or writing a chapter of a thesis or project.
