Syllabus: Body defence - infection, autoimmunity and anaphylaxis. Homeostasis - regulation of pH and shock. Mobility - fractures, soft tissue injuries and vertebral column injuries. Metabolism and nutrition - hepatobiliary and renal dysfunction. Oxygenation - cardiac dysfunction, peripheral vascular disease, anaemia, haemostasis and thromboemboli.
