Syllabus: This unit examines the framework of sports law and the application of legal issues to the sports setting. It aims to ensure students are aware of the legal repercussions of administrators ignoring the law when it is applied to sport. Topics include contract, tort, sporting tribunals, discrimination, criminal and insurance.
