Syllabus: The notion of legal personality. The law relating to sole traders, cooperative enterprises, partnership, associations, secret commissions and joint ventures. Introduction to trusts and franchise agreements. Agency law and the duties and liabilities of principle and agent. Registration and protection of business names. An in-depth coverage of the law governing corporations with an introduction to the principles of corporate governance.
