Syllabus: Biotic and physical environment of Western Australia. Principles of land rehabilitation, rehabilitation of salinised land and coastal dunes, planning and implementation of revegetation programs, monitoring and management. Importance of animals in restoration, reclamation of land to encourage invertebrates, mammals, birds, reptiles and frogs. Restoring arid lands, fire and landcare, restoration of wetlands, reclamation for amenity, fishing and nature trails. Self-operated excusion.
