Introduction

Corporate governance monitors standards and ensures compliance with the laws which authorise and regulate companies and their commerical activities. It provides a thorough coverage of the legal and administrative requirements for business and industrial administration.

Course Entry Requirements

Applicants must have either a bachelor degree in any field from a recognised Australian tertiary institution, or equivalent qualification, or substantial work experience.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis. Recognition of prior learning may be given to students who have completed equivalent units in a recognised Australian tertiary institution to a maximum of 25 credits.

Duration and Availablity

The course is of one semester full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Career Opportunities

Employment for graduates is mainly in state and federal government departments dealing with corporate governance.
