Introduction

This research degree is available to suitably qualified candidates interested in undertaking research into the wide discipline of property studies.

Course Entry Requirements

A pass degree in property with a high course weighted average together with relevant and substantial work experience, or an appropriate honours degree, Postgraduate Diploma in Commerce (Property Studies), or completion of the Master of Property with a high course weighted average plus the completion of a unit in research methods.

Duration and Availability

The course is by research and normally requires one to two-years full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Course Organisation

This course leads to a research degree however, specific coursework may be required in consulation with the Head of School.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.

Special Note

The Curtin Business School provides facilities and benefits for those studying this course by research, including access to suitable computer facilities, office space, financial assistance to attend appropriate intra or interstate conferences and towards associated research costs. It is a requirement that two-thirds of this course is undertaken by research and only one-third by coursework. Students should not enrol in this research course to receive the Graduate Diploma in Property but rather have undertaken it as a requisite for admission.
