Syllabus: Research relating to teachers competence in mathematics indicates a need to enhance the confidence and competence in teachers mathematical abilities. Supports those who, while having a TEE mathematics score, feel 'weak' in the mathematics required for teaching in the primary school setting. May be a requirement upon failure of the initial basic mathematics test.
