Syllabus: Practical laboratory and field work in hydrogeology and engineering geology--aquifer testing, treatment of borehole data, pollution monitoring and groundwater quality assesment. Mechanical properties of rocks and soils, foundation evaluation and engineering geology environmental case studies.
