Syllabus: This unit focuses on application of concepts, knowledge, skills and current research findings related to midwifery care of well clients in community and hospital settings. Exploration of the role of the midwife. Midwifery practice in antenatal, intrapartal, postnatal areas. ACMI competency standards for midwives (2002). Reflective practice.
