Syllabus: Industrial issues of occupational health and safety, historical and current in the industrialised world, newly industrialised countries and the developing world. Legislation, principles of negligence, duty of care, ethics. Prioritising health and safety. Grievance handling, negotiation and confrontation, techniques for problem resolution of health and safety issues within a tripartite framework.
