Introduction

This course provides a qualification for people working in the mining industry who are interested in furthering their studies into the corporate and resources administration side of the mining industry

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

Applicants must have either a graduate certificate in corporate and resources administration or its equivalent, or a bachelors degree in business, commerce or related field from a recognised Australian tertiary institution or equivalent qualification.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

The course is two semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Graduate Certificate in Corporate Resources and Administration

Intermediate Awards I

A student who has successfully completed the requirements of an approved intermediate award, may apply for graduation in that award subject to approval of the Head of School/Department. Fees apply. Intermediate awards approved for this course appear below.

Career Opportunities

Graduates generally find employment in the corporate and administrative departments of mining companies, and in state and federal government departments dealing with corporate resources.
