Syllabus: Anthropological approaches to indigenous land tenure and property relations. A practical examination of the historical, economic and legal aspects of how land tenure and property relations amongst indigenous peoples and settler societies have been represented in a variety of political contexts. The approach is comparative with the focus on Australia.
