Studio: 1 x 6 Hours Weekly
 
Syllabus: Students will undertake a number of staff initiated projects, which will examine issues such as the representation of Indigenous Australians leading to the possibility for developing new modes of representation, social and political issues relating to contemporary Aboriginal society and cultural concerns for contemporary Aboriginal artists. Traditional techniques and approaches will be encouraged and a critique of various forms of representation will be undertaken. Students will develop a portfolio of work demonstrating their competence in traditional and contemporary technologies and processes.
