Syllabus: Comprises a practicum placement for which students have accessed and received documentation and which most would have completed by the commencement of the unit. Info 102 students have a prac diary to complete, Info 504 have a project. The coursework component is to assist students to contextualise what they have discovered in their prac and to expose them to some of the background to information services and their institutions in the Australian context. This is covered by the following modules - accessing information, recording information, information services, the information professions, information policy issues.
