Introduction

This course is designed to suit the various objectives of those intending to pursue postgraduate studies in business law. It develops a high level of expertise in a functional area of business and management through a combination of advanced studies in the field. It explores a particular aspect of a functional area of business and management through an in-depth study of business law.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

An undergraduate degree or equivalent in business, economics, commerce or a related field, and an appropriate Postgraduate Diploma in Business, or an appropriate first or second class honours degree. A course weighted average of 70 per cent in the Postgraduate Diploma in Business (Commercial Law) is required by applicants commencing without an appropriate honours degree.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

This fee-paying course is two years full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Intermediate Awards

A student who has successfully completed all the requirements of the Postgraduate Diploma in Business (Commercial Law) may apply for graduation in that award subject to approval of the Head of School. For further definition refer to the Statement and Awards section under General Information.

Additional Course Expenses
