Introduction

This major provides a detailed understanding of contemporary economic issues that relate to a changing global environment, with an emphasis on Australia, East Asia and North America. Students receive a strong foundation in macro and microeconomic theory as well as an understanding of economic policy in the global economy. Graduates are eligible for Associate Professional Membership of the Economics Society of Australia (Western Australian Branch).
