Introduction

Designed for graduates with a degree in commerce, public relations or a related discipline with relevant professional experience or those with an unrelated undergraduate degree possessing substantial experience in public relations and communication management. Students gain knowledge in the application of public relations and communication management theories and principles. It also enhances the ability of managers with responsibility for corporate communications to solve strategic organisational problems, develop policies and implement tactics.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

A bachelor degree in business, commerce, economics or other appropriate field from a recognised Australian tertiary institution, or equivalent qualification. Applicants must have appropriate academic preparation in the intended field of specialisation.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

This fee-paying course is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study. Limited units may be offered in an intensive format.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials.
