Types of data. Graphing techniques. Diversity indices. Continuation of diversity indices. Experimental testing procedures. Comparing means. One-way ANOVA. Scheffe tests. MINITAB introduction. Fisher's testing. MINITAB - one-way ANOVA, two-way ANOVA, randomised block design and application. ANOVA assumptions, Levene Test for variance equality. Two-way ANOVA with replication, Interaction effects. MINITAB - tabulation for two-way. ANOVA mean summaries. t-test dependent samples (repeated measures), t-test independent = one-way ANOVA. CHI-SQUARE - introduction, contingency tables, MINITAB. Regression - MINITAB, correlation. Mann-Whitney U Test (non parametric). Spearman Rank Correlation (non parametric). Kruskal Wallis. Kendall's Coefficient of Concordance (or specific instructions to appropriate references).Transformation of data.
