Mechanisms and interpretation of diagnostic and monitoring tests performed in laboratories for patients under medical care. Systems approach in the evaluation of laboratory tests. Cardiovascular, renal, gastrointestinal, endocrine, haematological and neurological disorders, immunological disorders and infectious diseases. Drug levels in biological fluids and tissues. Drugs affecting laboratory tests and implications in medical treatments.
