Development of an understanding of the importance of plan formulation, evaluation, implementation and monitoring in an integrated approach to urban and regional planning and development for local, regional and state levels. Presents a structured opportunity to engage in a simulated plan-making exercise which is comprehensive both in its topic coverage and in its attention to the main levels of planning. Application of skills and techniques which are central to the practice of physical planning and development.
