Advancement of technical aspects as they relate to the practice of Product Design. Tuition is studio orientated using project based design problems. Emphasis is placed on advancing technical knowledge. Provides an awareness of the technological processes and characteristics of a range of materials required for product design and the concept of design for manufacturability.
