Concept of holistic health and primary health care. Principles and practice of primary health care within a context of indigenous ways of - Duty of care, accountability, ethics and law. History taking and assessment skills to determine the health status of family members - elderly, adult and teenager. Strategies to assist families to be responsible for their own health - identify health issues and explore options for well being. Develop realistic goals for healthy living. Be self-directed in obtaining optimal health.
