Modal Analysis in Transmission Systems - Single mode propagation, Multi-conductor transmission systems, Multi-mode propagation, Travelling waves in multi-conductor systems, Numerical computation. Power Quality and Harmonics - Power Definitions in Three Phase Circuits, Bridge Rectifier Harmonics, Cyclo-converters. Power System Operation and Planning - Power System Reliability, State Estimation, Optimal Power flow and VAR planning, Load Forecasting, Load Management.
