Overview of plant propagation - sexual, vegetative and in vitro propagation techniques, propagation media and structures. Seed germination, seed dormancy mechanisms, vegetative propagules, layering, techniques and physiology of grafting and root inductionin cuttings. Plant tissue culture - facilities, equipment and media, micropropagation and miscellaneous in vitro techniques.
