Examination of the structure and function of the immune system. Cells and cellular products of significance in immunobiology. Antigens and immunogens. The structure and functions of immunoglobulins and antibodies, Antigen-Antibody reactions - principles and applications. The complement system. The major histocompatibility complex (MHC). Applied immunology, immunisation, organ transplantation, hypersensitivities and disorders of the immune system.
