The landscapes of traditional and contemporary Aboriginal Australia. The Australian townscape: growth phases, variations by region, scale and function, the city and suburb, industrial landscapes. Australian landscapes in art. Attitudes to the preservation and destruction of landscapes. The development of a heritage and conservation movement and its impact on modern Australia.
