Students will undertake a number of staff initiated projects, working in two and three dimensions, through which they will explore a range of visual problems associated with form, communication and personal expression. Basic skills in painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, jewellery, clay and glass together with traditional media will be introduced. Students will develop a portfolio of work demonstrating their competence in traditional and contemporary technologies.
