Principles of pharmacology, application of basic and clinical pharmacological knowledge to therapeutics. Mechanisms of drug action, toxicity and interaction. Drugs acting on the central nervous system, on the peripheral nervous systems, cardiovascular, gastro-intestinal, endocrine and musculoskeletal systems. Antibacterial and antifungal agents. Drugs used in dermatology. Pathophysiology of respiratory and renal diseases and drugs used in their treatment.
