Physical chemistry, gas solubility, molecular equilibrium, hydrolysis, buffers, curves, indicators. Organic chemistry, benzenes, alcohols, phenols, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, acids, amines, fats, oils and waxes, proteins and sugars, functional group interconversion. Chromatographic and spectrophotometric methods of analysis. Practical, laboratory exercises on solution equilibria and functional organic group chemistry.
