Classical Mechanics Syllabus - Formalism's in classical mechanics, introduction to Lagrangian mechanics and applications to an oscillatory system, motion under central forces, applications, planetary and satellite orbits, Rutherford scattering, rigid body mechanics, the inertia tensor, linear, non-linear and chaotic oscillations, phase space representations.
